Glenn Construction was established by John Glenn Sr. and his brother Charlie Glenn. John and Charlie saw an opportunity to take their many years of experience and start their own business and that's exactly what they did. Glenn Construction became incorporated in 1977 by John Glenn Sr. His son John Glenn Jr. joined the team in 1985 and became a certified general contractor in 1991. John Glenn Jr. planned a vast part in expanding the company’s market share is surrounding counties.

In March 2012, John's son Kyle Glenn joined the team. After attending East Carolina University, and receiving his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Distribution and Logistics, Kyle worked for an electrical distribution company in Virginia. After working there for three years, he then decided to move his family back to North Carolina and join the family business. Kyle knew all about hard work, growing up working with his father and grandfather throughout high school. Glenn Construction believes he will be able to add a competitive modern edge from his education and corporate background.

As of March 2015 Glenn Construction obtained its commercial contractor’s license, expanding our services to include commercial projects. This element includes turnkey commercial construction and up fits of all sizes.
